    Firstly, are you close to this friend of yours? It's quite unusual for a friend to do that to you knowing that you like her.

    So far, what is the progress between you and the girl? If both of you are stable, then you should not be afraid of anyone coming in between both of you. If a girl can be pursued so easily by another guy, then she's probably not worthy of your love.

    Try to focus your efforts on the girl. Ignore your friend's action and if the girl really likes you, she will reject your friend.
